Funeral services for Otis Arnold, 88, West Liberty, were held July 11 at First Church United in West Liberty. Burial was in Overman Cemetery, Atalissa.

Mr. Arnold died July 8 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City.

He married Erma Mae Van Horne in 1912 in Muscatine. He was a member of the church and retired from farming near Atalissa before moving to West Liberty.

Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Verlee) Williams, Grandview and Jessie Stewart, Atalissa; a son, Stewart, West Liberty; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Harriet Hildebrand, West Liberty.
