Benjamin and Delilah Verdan

VERDAN, GLENN, MYERS

I am trying to find information about a Benjamin Verdan and his wife Delilah Glenn Verdan. Benjamin was living in Troy township, Monroe County as of the 1852 Iowa state census. I also have a transcript of a letter written by Delilah Glenn Verdan which states they're living in "Alba, Monro Cty." dated 1864.

Delilah was the daughter of a David Glenn (1800-1832) and Anna Sheward Glenn (1800 - 1892) and I believe Delilah was born in Ohio in 1826. Delilah had one brother, Robert Glenn (1822 - 1917,) born in Hocking County, OH.

Delilah also had five half brothers and sisters born to her mother, Anna Sheward Glenn, after Anna remarried (due to David's death) in 1834, Her new husband was Alexander Francis Myers (1834-1878.) The children of Anna Glenn Myers and Alexander Francis Myers were: David G. Myers; Malinda Catherine Myers; William A. Myers; Letha Ann Myers; and Frances Jane Myers.

If you any information on Benjamin and Delilah Verdan I'd love to hear from you.
