Stephen:

The potts Cemetery for some reason was renamed the Welch Cemetery! I
have no other reason other than the Mr. Welch that died on the Mormon Trail. Mr.
Welch was not the first to be buried there at the Potts Cemetery the three
Rinehart children where the first and granted permission by John Cleek Potts Sr,
Hence the name Potts Cemetery. John Potts Sr. was my third great grandfather.
John Rinehart

How has control of the Potts Cemetery? Why was it renamed? Who renamed it? It
has always been in the care of the Rinehart and Potts family care, and I as 3rd
Rinehart family Historian since 1829 have been trying to get the Cemetery
Association to restore and take care of it. There is a War of 1812 Veteran
buried there, and Civil War Veterans buried there. John Rinehart Please respond
You at one time had many of the people buried there, do you still have them
listed?
