George PIERCE of Monroe co IA

I am trying to find the origins and parents of George PIERCE born 1824 in Ohio and died in 1911 in Monroe co Iowa. He married Marietta MAJOR in then Mercer co OH (Now Auglaize co OH) in 1848 and went with her family to Monroe co IA in 1849. He was an early settler of both Monroe co and Wapello counties. He had a brother Zachariah PIERCE also born in Ohio. He married Sarah Jane KINDER in 1850 in Wapello co IA. I believe they are related to Mary Ann PIERCE who married David HINKLE in 1836 in Mercer co Ohio. George and Marietta's children lived in Iowa and Nebraska.
