Charles Kidney, What Happen??

Would like to view an obit or gravestone or death certif. of Charles Kidney (b.1866 NY) Suspect was an orphan train rider abt 1872-75.
Appears 1880 census at 15 yrs in Wayne, Monroe Co on James O'Connor farm. 1915 Albia, Monroe. 1920 Boarder with Alex and Laura Long. Laborer with theater co.Albia, Monroe. 1925 Inmate Questionare Census in Fort Madison. So?? What happen?? Never married, did not know his parents name at 59 yrs. and states he's been in Iowa 51 yrs. What happen between 1920 and 1925??? Lost after that. can not locate in 1930 census
