In Response To: LEMASTER CEMETERY LOCATION PLEASE (Mary Ellen)

Mary,

Yes, there is a LeMaster Cemetery. It is also known as Mt. Carmel/LeMaster Cemetery. I "visited" this cemetery about 4 yrs ago and it is literally in someone's cattle pasture. The cemetery is set quite a distance from the road, but I could see that it had a fence around it and when I was there, in May, I could see irises blooming amoung the headstones. It looked rather well maintained.

The cemetery is obvioulsy surronded by privately owned land, and therefore I did not trespass to visit the cemetery.

I have a few LeMaster relatives who I know are buried there and have several more that I suspect are. I have never come across a complete listing of persons buried in this cemetery. I would be thrilled to find such a list.

Sincerely,
Marla Gray
