Mrs. John Weber, 84, Sloan, died at an Onawa, Iowa, hospital Wednesday after an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the German City United Church of Christ near Holly Springs. The Rev. Martin Knudson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home of Sloan.

The former Minnie C. Burkhart, Mrs. Weber was born Nov. 20, 1888, at Hornick. She was married to John Weber Jan. 26, 1910, at Hornick. They had lived in Sloan since 1953.

She was a member of the German City United Church of Christ.

Survivors are the widower; a son, Darrel of Hornick; a brother, Louie Burkhart of Sioux City and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Holstrom of Fairbury, Neb., and Mrs. Lizzie Morris of Scottsbluff, Neb.
