WHITING, Iowa-- Homer P. Morgan, 84, of Whiting died Tuesday in a nursing home in Whiting.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Wood Funeral Home in Sloan. The Rev. Everett Epperson will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Evangelical Church Cemetery at German City. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today in the funeral home.

Mr. Morgan was born Sept. 15, 1899, in McClean County, Ill. He married Yetta Kohart Sept. 15, 1921, at Holly Springs. She died in 1960. He was an area farmer.

Mr. Morgan was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Lola) Harvey of Whiting; one son, Ray of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Alvin of Milford; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Compton of Pontiac, Mich. and Mrs. Edith Harms of Oregon; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
