Warren Charles Huntley, 53, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away March 17.

Warren was born March 17, 1968 in Onawa to Bud and Arlene Huntley. He grew up in the Castana and Mapleton area. He attended school in Mapleton and graduated in 1986.

He joined the Navy in 1987, shortly after his dad’s death. He was in the Navy until 2001. He then worked for the Union Pacific Railroad until 2013.

He married Rochelle (Adams) on July 4, 1992, and they had three children: Aspin, Zachary, and Sailor.

Warren loved to hunt and fish, and he enjoyed collecting all types of guns. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, and always had good stories to tell.

Those left to cherish his memory include: Rochelle Adams, his children: Aspin, Zachary (Ciara) and Sailor, his brothers: Buddy (Theresa) Huntley, T.J. Huntley, Tommy Huntley, and Jon (Lona) Huntley, his sister: Rhonda Jester (Huntley), his aunts and uncles, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and lots of friends.

Those who will welcome him into Heaven include: parents-Bud Huntley Sr., Arlene Huntley (Nichols), grandparents- Charles Robert Huntley and Ida Ellen Huntley, Arthur Leroy Nichols and Joyce Arlene Nichols (Carroll), and his nephew-Derek Huntley.

There will be a Celebration of His Life on May 1 at Gray’s Landing (Monona Co. Park) near Mapleton from 12-4 p.m. at the shelter house. Please come and help us celebrate a life well lived.
