ONAWA, Iowa - John Lemoine, 71, Onawa, died Jan. 10 at an Onawa hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 14 in the Pearson Funeral Chapel at Onawa. The Rev. Thomas Malloy will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs (Iowa) Cemetery.

Mr. Lemoine was born Oct. 14, 1903, at Newton. He was a veteran of World War II. He lived at Smithland and Bronson before moving to Onawa. He was a member of David McNeil Post 129, American Legion, at Onawa.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wilfred (Lois) Hamm of Tekamah, Neb.; a brother, Wilbur of Kingsley; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Edith) Gaffey of Le Mars, Mrs. Leo (Bessie) Dunhom of Des Moines and Mrs. Merlin (Faye) Davis of Cushing.
