Memorial Obituary

Mrs. SUSAN HOPKINS

BLENCOE, Ia. -Special Funeral services for Mrs. Susan E. Hopkins, 85, Blencoe , who died Friday at an Onawa, Ia., hospital after five-month illness, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Congregational church here. Rev. Everett Epperson pastor of the Christian church at Onawa will officiate. Burial will be in the Blencoe cemetery under the direction of the Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa.

Mrs. Hopkins, the former Susan Hime, was born December 2, 1887, at Onawa. She was married to Frank Hopkins January 10, 1807, at Onawa. He died in 1946. Mrs. Hopkins was a lifetime resident of the Blencoe and Onawa area.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Madeline Krommenhoek of Sioux City, Mrs. James E. Collison of Onawa, Mrs. Bernard Mackrid of George, Is.; and Mrs. G. H. Gordon of Hawk Point, Mo.; Four sons, Bruce of Woodbine, Lewis of Ida Grove, IA., Frank of Foley, Minn., And Henry of Portland, 0re.; two brothers, William Hime of Blencoe and Clyde Hime of Onamia, Minn.; 31 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
