Henry Leum Killed in Crash

MRS. SOLEM'S BROTHER-IN-LAW IS KILLED IN CAR CRASH

Mrs. T. P. Solem received a message Wednesday morning saying that her sister's husband, Henry Leum, 50, had been instantly killed in an automobile accident.

The Rev. and Mrs. Solem had driven here from near Burbank, S.D., to enable the former to conduct funeral services for the late Mrs. Gunder Jellum, and they left immediately afterward for the home of Mrs. Solem's father, near Mitchell, South Dakota. They and a sister who lives in that city, went to the Leum's home at Mayville, North Dakota to be with the stricken family. Mrs. Leum and 3 sons survive.

Mr. Leum was a state senator and a prominent attorney. He & his wife visited here in Osage just a few weeks ago, coming here from Rochester, MN where he had a major operation.
