I received information on an ancestor, Julius Grutel who lived there from 1909 to 1915. I was told to contact the Harrison County Department of Human Services for more information. The State Department of Human Services sent me a copy of his front sheet with his birth, addmission & death dates. It also gave me his rating, how bad it was, and whether or not he was functional. He is buried in the State Cemetery at Glenwood Iowa, as I am assuming most of those who died there are too. I hope this information helps you find info on your ancestors.
