Celia Norman, 98, passed away January 4, 2008 at the West Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center in Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by parents: Albert and Fannie Verwers; husband Charles Norman; and siblings: Bill Verwers, Lester Verwers, Elmer Verwers, Cornie Verwers, Freda Mart, Naomi Evans, Wilma Richards, Marie See, and Cleo McShane.

Celia is survived by her children: Charlene (Mervin) Schaffer of Lacona, and Clifford (Jeanne) Norman of Melcher-Dallas; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild; a brother Herman (Hannah) Verwers; and many nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held January 5, 2009 at the Dallas Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Melcher-Dallas Rescue Unit or to the Hospice of your choice.
