Mary Angeline (Parks) Paveglio was born April 9, 1914 in Melrose, Iowa to William Earl and Cecelia (Ward) Parks. She graduated from the Melrose High School and the Ottumwa Beauty Academy.

On June 6, 1951 she was united in marriage to Ferucio Paveglio at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chariton, Iowa. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2005.

Angie was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was very active in the Altar and Rosary Society for almost 50 years, helping in the kitchen and bingo. Angie will be remembered for her crocheting, knitting afghans for babies born in the family, embroidering on pillow cases and dish towels, quilting and her African violets. She was devoted to her family and the church.

Angie passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Westridge Nursing and Rehab where she was a resident for the last 3 years at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 14 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Vincent, three brothers, Raymond, James and Robert Parks, three sisters, Cecelia Spears, Mary Carocci, Rose Rice, brothers-in-law, Frank Burke, Etro and Bruno Paveglio, LaVerne Rice, and sister-in-law, Mary Romanco.

Angie is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Burke of Colorado, Patricia (Woody) Bush of Maryland and Teresa (Charles) Lawson of Ottumwa; brothers-in-law Irvin Spears of Texas, Tom Carocci of New Jersey; sister-in-law Jennie Parks of Centerville and twenty nieces and nephews.

Angie will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
