Miss Nellie A. Grant, a resident of Knoxville for many years, died at the hospital in Leon, Friday, January 15, 1954, at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 8 days.
The deceased is survived by her brother, Will Grant, of Knoxville, and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Carpenter, of Leon, with whom the deceased had made her home for the past number of years.
Funeral services were held Monday, at 2 o’clock from the Bybee & Davis funeral home, conducted by Rev. George Snyder. Interment was made in the Graceland cemetery.
