Mrs. Cora C. Weston, daughter of Wesley and Lavina Jordan, passed away at her home at 1123 24th St. in Des Moines, Wednesday, April 15, after a short illness.
Mrs. Weston was active in religious and social affairs. She was a member of Central church until the organization of the University Church of Christ, where she was a charter member, retaining this membership the past 48 years.
Deceased is survived by one brother, Tom Jordan of Colfax; three nephews – Don Jordan of Pleasantville; Dee Jordan of Waterloo; and Louie Jordan of Shrewsburg, Mass.; and one half-brother, W. C. Jordan, of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held in the University Church of Christ on Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m. conducted by the pastor, Rev. Paul Becker. Interment was in the Pleasantville cemetery.
