Her age was 59 years, 7 months and 10 days.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist church of this place Sunday evening, March 22, conducted by her pastor, Rev. F. E. Pelson. The kindness shown to Mrs. McCarl during her protracted illness and the large attendance at the funeral testify to the esteem in which she was held by her many friends. Before failing health prevented, she was prominent in W.C.T.U. work in Knoxville, of which society she was a member.
Mr. McCarl started Sunday evening with the remains to El Paso, Ill., where interment was made beside their children who had some years before preceded her.
