Alberta Hoover, daughter of Clay and Vada Hoover, was born June 7, 1919 at Melcher and died at the Woodward hospital. Woodard, June 1, 1949 at the age of 29 years, 11 months and 24 days. She had been ill since six months old.
The deceased is survived by her father and mother; twin brother, Albert, two sisters, Doris and Bonnie and brother, Ben.
Funeral services were held from the Flanagan funeral home. Friday, June 3, at 2 o’clock and they were conducted by Rev. Roy Guegler. Interment was in the Albia cemetery. – Melcher Union.
