Mrs. Minnie Overton, wife of Tyler P. Overton, who was born in Knoxville, died at her home in Long Beach, Calif., Friday, June 10, at the age of 75 years.
The deceased had been a resident of Long Beach since 1920, after a year’s residence in Los Angeles.
Survivors are Tyler P. Overton, the husband; three sons, Harvey C. Overton, of Long Beach, Calif.; Clayton J. Overton, of Jackson, Miss., Kearns S. Overton, of Uplands, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Bunch, of Lomita, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Linda Applegate, of Knoxville; a brother, Stanley Cathcart, also of Knoxville; eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday forenoon and burial was made in Sunnyside Memorial park at Long Beach.
