FUNERAL SERVICES – W. J. McConnelee

The funeral of W. J. McConnelee was held yesterday morning at 10 o’clock from the residence, 125 South Ninth street, the Rev. J. F. Jamieson of Des Moines conducted the services. The pallbearers were: S. R. Hamilton, J. F. Thompson, R. M. Ross, C. M. Jamieson, P. N. Carnahan and H. M. Allison. Th body was laid to rest in the Monmouth cemetery.

Transcriber's note: The deceased appears in Madison County censuses from 1856 through 1885. He served from Madison County as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 4th Iowa Cavalry in the Civil War.
