MESA - Betty Luth of Mesa, Arizona passed peacefully March 6, 2024 at Hospice of the Valley Dobson Home in Chandler, Arizona. She was surrounded by her loving family and her devoted husband, William.

She was born May 27, 1934 at the home of her parents Charlie and G. Bonnelle Heubrock in Douglas Township, Madison County, Iowa. A 1952 graduated and salutatorian of Valley High School, Betty married William Luth on August 23, 1953. Following Bill's discharge from the Army, they lived in Iowa City Iowa, State College Pennsylvania, Newton Massachusetts, Stanford California, Albuquerque New Mexico, and Derwood Maryland before settling in Mesa, Arizona following Bill's retirement in 1996.

They raised three children, Linda, Robert and Sharon.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her younger sister Rose Marie Heubrock, and her youngest daughter Sharon Furcone.

She is survived by her husband, William, her youngest sister Ann (Heubrock) Jenness, her daughter Linda Espinoza and husband Fred, son Robert and wife Monalee, son-in-law Emanuel Furcone, five grandchildren (Kristi, Westerly, Griffin, Hunter, and Matthew), and two great-grandchildren (Casey and Parker).
