Winterset, IowaMary Lehmer, 77, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Accura Healthcare of Newton East in Newton.

Mary Louise Lehmer was born in Dubuque, Iowa on April 17, 1946, the daughter of Edward and Estelle (Wilhelm) Jacobsmeyer. She was united in marriage to Tom Lehmer on November 8, 1965 in Des Moines. Mary was a devoted homemaker and spent most of her life in East Peru, Iowa.
She is survived by her sons, Louis Lehmer and Jim Lehmer; and siblings, Richard Jacobsmeyer and Rita Kress.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Estelle Jacobsmeyer and her husband, Tom.
