Mrs. Frank Duff

Relatives in Madison county have been informed of the death March 30 of Mrs. Alice Burrus Duff, the wife of Frank Duff, at her home in Corning, California. Mrs. Duff had been ill for over a year.

She was well known in the county, the daughter of one of its pioneer families, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Burrus. She taught school for a number of years at the Webster school and not long after her marriage went to California where she had lived for over twenty years.

Interment was made in Corning.

Mrs. Duff is survived by her husband and her daughter, Dorothy. D. W. Short, living on route 3, is a cousin.
