Just to let you guys know. One of the male Webb's in my family did a YDNA test. He is I-M223 which matches up with the John Webb 1694. That is what Jonathan Webb married to Rachel Hawkins and son of George Webb 1723 should have. I looked at the sample out on the webbdnaproject.org that was given from the Ulysses Grant Webb family for Elisha B Webb and it is R-M269 and does not match mine or any of the other Webb's they are studying to date. It means to me either you need to get another sample or you are not part of the Jonathan Webb and Rachel Hawkins line. It does not explain to me why my Autosomal DNA match 2 members of your family. I guess it could mean I am related thru the women's families down the line.
