Lillian, the second daughter of Frank and Ida Gay of Cone, died at her parents' home Tuesday night, after an illness of seven weeks. She was taken sick while visiting with Mr. Robert Owen's of this place, with typhoid fever, and she has gradually been growing weaker since. The physicians say tat during the last week of her sickness she had consumption. The little one was nearly four years old and was a constant source of delight to her parents. Her funeral was held at Cone this morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Fouse. Interment was in the Cone cemetery.
