Columbus City, December 14 - Death comes alike to young and old, its latest victim being Miss Sallie Davis, who had been ill for several weeks with typhoid pneumonia, and although her death was not unexpected, still it came as a shock to her host of friends who extend their deepest sympathies tot he sorrowing parents and the two brothers and a sister who remain to mourn her loss. The funeral was held at the M. E. church today at 1 o'clock. The singing was solely by her class mates and the pall bearers were also selected from the high school.
