The remains of the lamented Mrs. Arizona Hazel arrived Wednesday evening, the 16th, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Henry Hazel. She died at her home in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, after a very brief illness.

She was the youngest daughter of the venerable Alexander McCurdy, upon whom this second sad bereavement falls heavily. She was 39 years old and had been married ten years and five days when she was taken away. The funeral was held from the Reformed church Thursday afternoon, November 17th, and the remains of the lovely and beautiful woman were laid to rest among her kindred in the Brockway cemetery. Only last July the remains of her sister, Mrs. Northey, were brought from Waterloo, Iowa and deposited beside the grave of her mother, who died years ago.
