Shoo Fly, July - Mrs. Ronan departed this life at 9 o'clock Tuesday evening at her home near here after a week's illness of heart trouble. Deceased was in her 72nd year and was a native of Ireland. Her husband died several years ago and she is survived by two sons and four daughters; James, John, Tillie, and Ida Ronan at home. Hannah, wife of Thos. Ashton, of Nira, Iowa and Maggie, wife of Chas. Barrow, of Iowa City, besides other relatives and a host of friends. The funeral took place at the St. Mary's church in Lone tree, Friday at 9 a. m. Rev. Father Nolan of Nichols officiating. Interment was in Iowa City.
