My Nelson Peterson great-great-grandparents

Hi! I've run into a bit of a roadblock trying to find out more information about my great-great grandparents.

My Great-great grandfather was August Nelson, born in Sweden aprox 1862, died in Iowa in 1895.

His wife Augusta Matilda Peterson was also born in Sweden, and died in Cedar Rapids in 1904. According to a brief obit on her that I found in an online Cedar Rapids newspaper, she died at the home of her widowed mother, a Mrs. G Peterson. I know nothing else about her parents than this little tidbit. According to the 1900 census, she immigrated in 1882.

August and Augusta's eldest child was Amanda Cecelia Nelson, born in Stockholm in 1881, and died in Cedar Rapids in 1931. She married Henry Zuber in 1902.

Born to August and Augusta in Iowa were: George in 1885, Earnest in 1892, Elmer in 1894, and Leonard in 1896.

I would love to know more about August and Augusta's lives, when they married, and where they originally were from in Sweden. I've tried Ancestry.com and findagrave.com, and can't get any further. I would be most grateful if anyone has information about this family.
