John W. Welch

WELCH AND GLATTFELTER

Hello. My 3x great grandfather was John W. Welch. He was the son of Jeremiah S. Welch and Eliza Mason. He married Elizabeth Catherine Glattfelter Nov. 10, 1796 in Berlin, Somerset Co., PA. I know John W. was buried in Oakwood Cemetary in Monticello, but because he has no headstone, I am searching for concrete proof of his birth date and location, or death date and location. His father-in-law is a Rev. War Patriot I'm doing a DAR supplemental form on. I'm also interested because he was my father's namesake. My ph# is 573-280-9136. Thanks !!
