Yes, Thomas Head lived in Washington Township in Jones Co. I believe he ws from Co. Galway, Ireland, also. He was first married to a Nancy Glenn in Ireland, fathered 4 boys there and came with a brother to Jones Co. He married Catherine Burke on 4-4-47 and the had two daughters. He brought his four sons to live with them. She must have died, because in the 1956 census he is married to (Mary) Ann Glenn, who was widowed from a Hardiman ( She was coming to the US from Galway, when her husband died at sea). My G-grandfather, Martin Head, was the oldest son. He was married at Temple Hill to a Bridget Curley, daughter of Dan and Mary Curley. Many people from that area left to go to Western Iowa to a small town named Imogene. Thomas Head is buried in Cascade's St Martin's parish. Now a question-was there a church at Temple Hill? Where would the records be? I need to confirm that Thomas was his father and not an uncle that brought over these four boys. Thanks for your reply. Pat Maher
