That's a no brainer... the Jones County Genealogical Society in Anamosa. Call ahead of time as they work on an "appointment" basis.

Also check out the court house which houses many birth, marriage, and death records.

Neighboring Linn County has a nice genealogy library in the Masonic Building at Cedar Rapids which has some Jones County records too.

Soper? Those that link into Brundadge/Brundidge and Harvey lines? May be interested in sharing info if so.
