I found a photo of the Banghart home in a book that I purchased from the History museuem in Maquoketa, by Jerry Rasmussen & Others, " The Maquoketa I Remember"
In 1987 it was occupied by the Ted Ziemba Family.
1901 the Cottage Hospital, closed 1920.
1921? to 1940 Wilder P. Bowers.
At one point in history it was the Iowa Sanitorium.
The house is said to be at the Northwest corner of Summit & Niagara. Does anyone know if this home still stands???
