Funeral services for Charles Lyon, 87, Olin, were held Dec. 27, 1987 at the Olin Methodist church, with burial in the Olin cemetery.

Mr. Lyon died Dec. 23 at the Monticello Senior Home.

He is survived by his wife, Percie; 2 daughters, Sarah Garside, Wyoming and Charlene Taylor, Olin; 3 sons, Eldo, Ocurtt, Calif.; William, Cabot, Ark. and Donald, Stanwood; a sister, Marietta Carstensen, Anamosa; a brother, Gerald, Olin; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
