Cherrille Hamiton, 80, died peacefully Friday, October 27, 2023.

No services are planned. Friends may donate to Friends of the Animal Center Foundation.

Cherrille was born November 18, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of George Franklin and Cherille (Merrill) Hamilton.

Cherrille loved animals.

Cherrille is survived by her brother, Merrill (Teresa Callahan) Hamilton of Iowa City and her niece and nephew, Willa Hamilton and Ewan Hamilton. Her parents preceded her in death.
