Catherine Pugh

Mrs. Catherine T. Pugh, 88, of 612 South Dodge Street, died at here home this morning after a long illness.
Requiem mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church, with burial in the new section of St. Joseph's Cemetery. The rosary will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Donohue Mortuary. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Thursday.
Mrs. Pugh was born at Atlantic Nov. 3, 1880, to William and Mary Lynch McGraph. She was married to John B. Pugh Oct. 14, 1903, in Atlantic.
The couple moved to Iowa City to make their home in 1916. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Iowa City and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are three sons, John of Menomonee Falls, Wis., Joseph of Claremont, Calif., and Edward of Silver Spring, Md.; for daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Kelly of Iowa City, Jeanette of Chapel Hill N.C., and Margaret and Kathleen, both at home, and a sister, Mrs. Anna McGraph of Atlantic.
Her husband and a daughter died earlier.
