Elisa Anne Clayton, four months after her birth, was taken peacefully by angels to Heaven on Saturday, May 22, 2004 while she was sleeping.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in Riverside, Iowa. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to the Elisa Anne Clayton Memorial Fund.

Elisa was born January 9, 2004 the daughter of Stanley “Aaron” Clayton Jr. & Elizabeth Anne Clayton

She is survived by her parents, Aaron & Beth of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Solomon “Alijah” Clayton & Stanley “Aaron” Clayton III and a sister, Ebony Alysabeth Clayton, all at home; her maternal grandparents, Debrah K.Lauritson of Iowa City and McDale Thompson of Mason City; paternal grandparents Stanley Clayton Sr. of Surry, VA and Darlene Ann Clayton of Tiffin;

Great grandparents, Maternal, Robert and Mary Lauritson of Mason City; Paternal, Emilie Ruth-Young & her husband Ralph Young of Oxford

Aunts and Uncles, Lamont Thompson and Felicia Thompson of Mason City, Diana Lauritson of Omaha, Suzette Lauritson, James Clayton and John Clayton of Iowa City

GREAT Aunts and Uncles Judy Ann Bittner, Daniel Lauritson of Mason City, Diane Farra of Lincoln, Nebraska, Joseph Lauritson and Richard Ruth of Tipton, Pat Ruth of Hills, Judy Ruth of Oxford, Geri Turecek of Iowa City, William Ruth of Tiffin, Colleen Rempe of Ft. Also surviving are her godparents, Andrew Lee Oltrogge of Waterloo and Brooke Rae Kleinsasser of Waterloo; Elizabeth’s Special Sister, Lisa Bates of Iowa City, Elisa’s namesake.

Elisa was preceded in death by a Paternal Great grandfather, Richard Ruth and an uncle, Bruce Thompson.
