Myrtle Boyd, 85, Newton
Myrtle J. Boyd, 85, of Newton, died of a heart ailment Jan. 25, 2000, at Nelson Manor Nursing Home there. Services were held Jan. 29 at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton, with burial in Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd was born in Glenwood, Mo., and had lived in Newton since 1936. She was a retired press operator with Thomberts and a member of Ikettes.
Survivors include three sons, William Russell of Newton, Morris Russell of Altoona and Bill of Newton.
