Graveside rites were held for Wallie Smith at the McKeever cemetery Saturday at 3:30 o’clock.

Walter S. Smith Dies At 41 Years
Walter Scott Smith, 41, Jasper county PWA worker, died Wednesday afternoon at his home.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed, although the services will probably be held Saturday.

Conduct Smith Services At Local Mortuary
Funeral services for Walter Scott Smith, 1, were conducted from the Toland funeral home Saturday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. L. E. Bobbitt of the First Baptist church.
Earnest L. Earley furnished the music for the rites, singing “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere,” and “Face to Face.” He was accompanied at the piano by Florence Sherman.
Interment was in the McKeever cemetery at Colfax, with six fellow PWA workers serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Smith died Wednesday afternoon at his home in Newton, following a short illness.
