Eskel Fredrick Sannon, son of Martin E. Sannon and Gertie Troup, was born near Maxwell, Iowa, April 12, 1903 and passed away November 29, 1932 at the home of his mother, Mrs. Gertie Troup at Mitchellville, Iowa.
He was married to Zelma Dieter on May 30, 1924. To this union two sons were born. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and two sons, Robert, 7 and Dale, 6, of Denver, Colorado, his father, Martin E. Sannon of Los Angeles, California, his mother, Mrs. Gertie Troup and one brother, Morris at home in Mitchellville. Two sisters and one brother have preceded him in death. He has one grandmother, Mrs. Francis Baldwin of Mingo. Besides these there are uncles, aunts and cousins and a host of friends who will long remember Eskel and miss him in their presence.
On September 20, 1932 Eskel professed his faith in Jesus Christ which was the culmination of several years of interest in the Christian life.
Funeral services were conducted from the Zion Evangelical church west of Mingo by Rev. J. Ivan LaFavre of Maxwell. Interment was made in Graham cemetery.
