Mrs. Fannie Price, 81, of Glidden Dies
Funeral Services To Be Held in Carroll This Evening
Glidden (HNS) – Mrs. Fannie E. Price, 81, died about 11 o’clock Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Brand, about three miles northwest of Glidden. Although she had not been in good health for some time, her death was unexpected.
Mrs. Price had made her home with her daughter since last September.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Howard Price, Springfield, Mo.; Orren Blackmore, Mt. Ayr; Mrs. Clifford Knight, Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Brand.
Her husband, George H. Price, died Oct. 15, 1926. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marian Price, and a son, Hallie Blackmore.
The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home in Carroll, where services will be held at 8 o’clock this evening, with the Rev. J. R. McNichols, minister of the Glidden Methodist Church, officiating. Final rites and burial will be Tuesday afternoon at Mingo, Ia., Mrs. Price’s old home. Services will be held at the Methodist Church there at 3 o’clock.

Glidden News – Mr. and Mrs. Carney Conner, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Bentley, Mrs. Julia Brand and Flossie and Mrs. Fred Brand attended funeral services at Mingo Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Fannie Price, who passed away Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Brand.
