Man Found Dead Today
Charles Fleming, 68, Found Dead In Bed This Morning
Charles Fleming, 68, who resides with his brother, Walter, five miles south of Newton in the Grace Chapel neighborhood, was found dead in bed this morning by his brother, who had gone to investigate when he failed to appear.
Mr. Fleming, an unmarried man, had been doctoring for a heart ailment for some time, but his condition had not been reported serious.
Jasper County Coroner Ralph V. Toland was called to the scene and attributed his death to coronary thrombosis.
The body was taken to the Murdoch Funeral home where funeral arrangements will be made.
