MRS. LYDIA WATTS
DIES AT KELLOGG

Lydia Amelia Hill was born Oct. 12, 1853, near Hillsborough, Ohio, and died Feb. 26, 1930, being 76 years, 4 months and 14 days of age. About seven weeks ago she was stricken with paralysis, gradually growing weaker until she passed away Wednesday morning.

She was united in marriage May 31, 1876 to Christopher Lewis Watts, and two years later they moved to Villisca, Iowa and then came to Jasper county, settling near Kellogg, where she has since resided.

To this union were born seven children, all of whom, but one, are left to mourn her loss, and were at her bedside at the time of her departure. One son, Samuel died at the age of two years. Her husband preceded her in death, Aug. 24, 1922.--Kellogg Enterprise.
