Kenneth and Iris (Parks) Warrick welcomed Jack Dwayne Warrick into this world on April 1, 1949. They were there to welcome him into Heaven on September 11, 2016. Jack lived on the farm for most of his life. He loved driving tractors in the farm fields as well as mowing the lawn. He also helped feed the farm animals.
His passions were the Iowa Hawkeyes and finding toy tractors and other toys from stores to garage sales. People joining the family knew Jack considered them part of the family, when he would ask if they would like to see his collection. Jack also liked to collect family photos and memorabilia. He was involved in 4-H in his youth and went to watch his family play sports year round. Jack worked on the farm, at the Colfax-Mingo Schools in the cafeteria and at Progress Industries in Newton. Progress Industries helped Jack become a more independant person, which allowed him to live in an apartment by himself for the first time in his life. He liked that independence. Family was there for him and supported him in that independant life.

Those left to honor his memory include; Karol (Winston) Reitan of Collins, Larry (Brenda) Warrick of Lavonia, Missouri, Dave (Sue) Warrick of Monroe and Jodi (Sean) Callahan of Mingo; 13 nephews and nieces and 21 great nephews and nieces.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a great nephew, Jeromy Neal.

Graveside funeral services for Jack will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Colfax Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Memorials may be directed to Progress Industries Dayhab and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 11 Sept 2016.
