Michael, 71, formerly of Newton, died Friday, August 26, 2016, in Goodyear, AZ.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the Ashton Cemetery near Mingo. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 2, at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, who are entrusted with the local arrangements. Obituary

Michael F. Ogden, 71, of Goodyear, AZ, formerly of Newton, IA, died August 26 of lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eleanor Ogden, and one son, John Ogden. He is survived by his wife of 51 ½ years, Janet Maxwell of Collins, IA, his children: Sheryl (Paul) Schaffran, Timothy (Shanelle) Ogden, and Matthew (Tamara) Ogden, grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Schaffran, Gregory Schaffran, Nicholas Schaffran, Caitlyn (Dylan) Shepard, Levi Ogden, and Emily Ogden, and 1 great-grandchild.

Services will be held in Phoenix at Hillside Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 30 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Ashton Cemetery near Mingo, IA ~ The Chapel of the Chimes, Glendal, AZ 26 Aug 2016.
