Clarence Dorr Died in Arizona

Clarence Dorr, 88, of Sun City, Ariz. died there of cancer on December 12, 1992.

Mr. Dorr was born July 20, 1904 near Orlando, Okla. to Henry and Marguerite Dorr.

The family moved to a farm northeast of Baxter, and he graduated with the class of 1921 from Baxter High School. He was also a 1925 graduate of Iowa State College in Ames.

He was married to Mildred Smith of Janesville, Wis. for 63 years, and she survives. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Dorr Duel of Arlington Heights and Mary Jane Dorr Brown of Vernon, Vt., their spouses, three granddaughters and four grandsons; and one sister, Marguerite Dorr Snell of Port Angeles, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Minnie, who died Dec. 14, 1990, also of cancer. ~ The Jasper County Tribune, Thursday, Jan 21, 1993.
