Sep 28, 1938 - Mar 31, 2015John Plowman, 76, of Newton died on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A private family graveside service will be held at Newton Union Cemetery.
John is survived by his daughter, Sheila Plowman; grandchildren, Michelle, Tiffany, and Eli, two great-grandchildren, five sisters, three brothers, five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Leon and Helen Merle (Martin) Plowman; and wife, Pauline Plowman.
