Sara Ann Kintz Downs
BAXTER – Sara Ann Kintz, the daughter of Commadore Perry Kintz and Mary Ann Kintz, was born Oct. 10, 1867, and passed away Nov. 13, 1845, at the age of 78.
She was the third child in a family of 12 children, four boys and eight girls, all of whom have preceded her in death except two sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. Alta Gingles of Collins, Mrs. Myrtle Shyrock of Tulsa, Okla., and Olney Kintz, Memphis, Tenn.
She was united in marriage to Harry B. Downs in 1886 and to this union were born two children, Mabel, who passed away in infancy, and Edward C., who made his home with his mother, the husband having passed away in 1916. She is survived by her son, a grandson, her sisters and brother.
