Graveside Service A private family graveside service will be held at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton.

Visitation Service The family will greet friends at the Newton First Assembly of God Church, 1029 E. 19th St. N. in Newton Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Pat is survived by his daughter, Jackie (Jim) Sparks of Mingo, daughter, Pat (Randy) Taylor of Reasnor and Patrick Jay Walker II of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Shannon (Paula) Sparks, Shane (Donella) Sparks, Shanda (Nate) Riggins, Shabana Sparks, Melissa Truong, Samantha (Tim) Collins, Amee (Greg) Pleima, Nathan Walker, Jackie (Jeremy) Dittmer and Kelly Walker; and his many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mildred Walker; wife, Joann in 1995; brother, Junior; and sisters, Donna and Linda.

Pat served his country in the U. S. Navy during WWII.

Pat worked as a firefighter at the Newton Fire Department, for almost 30 years.

Pat was an active man who was deeply involved in his church for the majority of his life. His family and friends will always remember him as a deeply religious person who dedicated his life to God and his family.
